Tiago Cunha Martins is an experienced economist currently working as an Innovation and Digital Government advisor to the state Secretary of Justice of Portugal. He has over 14 years of experience in Public Sector Innovation, Public Policy, and Economic Development. Tiago has collaborated with governments, the private sector, academia, and international organisations to navigate the complex intersection of policymaking, technology, and the economy. He has been involved in more than 50+ crossdepartmental and multidisciplinary projects to enhance public services. Tiago holds a Master’s degree in Political Science and International Relations, a Master’s in Management, a Bachelor’s in Economics, and a Postgraduate degree in International Relations. He is also pursuing further studies in Information and Enterprise Systems, Public Sector Digitalization, and Innovation & Digital Transformation of the Justice Sector.
